At FBO Training and Research Centre, we manage a wide range of impactful projects across Nigeria aimed at advancing the country’s educational sector. These initiatives are designed not only to empower individuals and communities through education, skills development, and leadership training but also to address the specific needs of industries and organizations. Our expertise in managing diverse educational and skills development projects has positioned us as key players in fostering growth and innovation within Nigeria’s education and workforce sectors. Below is an overview of the projects we manage:

Highlights of Our Strides in Advancing Education in Nigeria:

PwC Chess4Change, conceptualized and managed by FBO Training and Research Centre, is sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). This initiative introduces chess clubs to schools across Lagos with the goal of nurturing students’ intellectual abilities and strategic thinking, ultimately leading to academic excellence. Chess is more than just a game; it serves as a powerful tool for fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and intellectual growth among Nigerian youth.

Federal Women Ministry Skill Innovation Program: In collaboration with the Federal Women Ministry, we focus on empowering women across the country. This project equips women with essential skills for personal growth and community development. By expanding educational opportunities for women, we help transform lives and promote gender equality through education.

Wema Skillnovation Program: In partnership with the Federal Government of Nigeria, this program is designed to empower 3 million youths with industry-relevant skills. FBO Training and Research Centre leads the management of this project across several states, including Ekiti, Borno, Kano, Anambra, Enugu, and Lagos. Our courses are tailored to meet the evolving needs of industries and organizations, ensuring that participants acquire practical skills that enhance their employability and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Other Projects Conceptualized, Managed, and Implemented by FBO Training and Research:

Project Tmax: This project, implemented across 7 different states, focused on technical and vocational training. Through our involvement, we helped equip Nigerians with the skills needed to improve their employability, reduce unemployment, and create new economic opportunities in various sectors.

CodeLagos: We closely collaborated with the CodeLagos initiative to expand digital literacy in Lagos. By teaching participants coding skills, this project opened doors to emerging job markets in the tech industry and encouraged innovation within local communities.

Eko Nke Koo (Lagos is Learning): This initiative aimed to reform adult education by offering both digital and non-digital training options. Eko Nke Koo sought to revolutionize learning in Lagos State, combining traditional education with innovative methods to improve educational outcomes. By integrating modern tools and techniques, the program enhanced learning experiences, empowering adult learners with the skills needed to succeed in today’s evolving educational landscape.

ReadySetWork: Through our partnership with ReadySetWork, we helped prepare penultimate and final-year students, as well as recent graduates, for life after school. By providing training in essential workplace skills, we bridged the gap between academic learning and real-world professional success. Our goal was to ensure that graduates were fully equipped to thrive in their careers and navigate the demands of the modern workforce with confidence.

Every project we manage reflects our mission to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s educational landscape. At FBO Training and Research Centre, we are proud to be part of the movement toward building a stronger, more educated nation.
